The predecessor of Rainbow Painter was called Rainbow Multimedia,
and was released many years ago on a computer everyone now has forgotten...
The information below is nothing more than a nostalgic trip, to show you the roots of Rainbow Painter.

FEATURES
It consisted of the following different media studios, as well as a built-in game:

Picture Studio (retouching/painting with a large set of tools, including natural media tools like oil-paint and water-color)

Photo Studio (adding effects to photos)

Sound Studio (editing and adding effects to sounds)

Sprite Studio (editing and animating sprites)

Slideshow Studio (creating slideshows with pictures, sounds and sprites from the other studios)

Skulls (a minesweeper type of game)

ABOUT
Rainbow Multimedia was a painting/multimedia program we released 1993-1995 for the computer Atari Falcon, before we moved to the Macintosh platform.

It was sold throughout Europe and the U.S., and was a big hit in France.

REVIEWS
Version 2 recieved much acclaim, including a
Gold Award and a 96% rating in ST Format
(a magazine from the publishers of Mac Format).
